THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Power supply to various places in the district will be hit on Wednesday and, in some places on Thursday as well, on account of pre-Onam maintenance work, the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) said.
Supply to areas served by the transformers at Padasekharam and Puthenkota in the Manacaud electrical section will be disrupted from 9 am to 5 pm on Wednesday.
Supply from the 110 kV sub-station at Attingal to Attingal, Avanavanchery, Venjaramoodu, Chirayikeezhu, Vakkom, Nagaroor, Kadakkavur, Kallambalam and Mangalapuram sections will be affected from 8 am to 5 pm on Wednesday on account of pre-Onam maintenance work.
Power supply from the 110 kV sub-station at Varkala to places falling under the Edava, Varkala, Kedakulam, Palachira, Paravoor, Poothakulam sections will be hit from 8 am to 5 pm on Thursday. Supply to areas served by the transformer at Payattukuppom in the Manacaud section limits will be hit from 9 am to 5 pm on Wednesday. Power supply to Venjaramoodu, Pirappancode, Thembamoodu and Manikkal will be regulated from 9 am to 5 pm on Wednesday due to repairs.
