THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Sreekariyam police on Friday registered a case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder against Baiju and other students in the jeep that caused the accident in which student Thansi Basheer was killed.
V Sivankutty MLA visited the college in the evening and met the SFI activists and asked them to maintain restraint. State Police Chief T P Senkumar told reporters that the police would check whether there was any fault on the part of the college authorities in reporting the incident to the police.
