Moolans Group, as part of its 30 anniversary celebrations, has embarked on the second phase of ‘Touch Heart’ project where 60 children with heart ailments will be provided free surgery and treatment at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi (AIMS).
The project will be carried out spending over `1 crore.
As part of the project, a free heart check up camp will be held for children at Adlux International Convention at Angamaly on December 30.
A medical team from AIMS under the leadership of Dr Krishnakumar will head the camp.
children who are identified from the camp will undergo surgery at AIMS.
The first instalment of the project, `50 lakh, will be handed over to AIMS Medical director Dr Prem Nair on that day.
As part of their 30 anniversary celebrations, Moolans Group will also organise a painting and cookery contest for children and women.
A valedictory function will also be held on the same day where in ministers including like K C Joseph, Ibrahim Kunj and Anoop Jacob will take part. Various cultural programmes will also be held.
