THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The tyres of two seized vehicles kept on the premises of the Parassala police station were found gutted in the wee hours of Monday. According to the police, the incident might have occurred around 1.30 am when the back tyres of a tipper lorry (KL 2 0E9424) and a mini lorry (KL 01 S 466) caught fire. As the local police officers present at the station failed to douse the fire, the Fire and Rescue Services team was pressed into service. The two vehicles were seized by the police.
