Rights Panel Forwards Plea to Secy

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Human Rights Commission has handed over to the higher education secretary the application seeking same moderation mark for the Set exam (general category) conducted on February 2.

The commission has also asked the government to consider it. The government announced two per cent moderation mark for the general category on the suggestion of Human Rights Commission chairperson Justice J B Koshi.

The Kerala Human Rights Commission pronounced verdict on a petition submitted by Kavadiar native T Subha. Though the government accepted it, it was applicable only to those who are going to write exams on June .
