Online Attack on TV Scribe: One Arrested

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: journalist Sindhu Suryakumar. The accused is Akhilesh Viswam, hailing from Adoor in Pathanamthitta district. He is an employee at the Bangalore airport.  According to the police, Akhilesh rang up the journalist and spoke indecently. He is also accused of sharing her phone number on Whatsapp and Facebook and asking others to lodge their protest.  Cantonment SI Satheesh said the accused admitted to have called Sindhu but said he never used any abusive words in the conversation. He was later let off on bail.The special investigation team formed under Thiruvananthapuram Range IG Manoj Abraham identified more persons in connection with the online attack.  The police traced the culprits with the help of cyber and forensic experts.

Meanwhile, the three accused who were arrested on Monday were granted bail on Wednesday.  Vibhash, K K Shijin and Vikas were released on bail after interrogation.
