THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: With summer already here, it’s time to give your kids an active and fun filled experience with fun filled workshops and summer camps. Alliance Française is coming up with summer camp for kids in the city from April 4. Children can either choose to learn French or improve their levels in the language with intensive courses in different categories. de Trivandrum is organizing summer classes from 4 April, 2016. The camp is being held for children and teenagers between 3-16 years of age.
The centre will be organising the full day summer camp from 10 am to 3.30 pm. The classes are equipped to keep children active, engaged and entertained this summer, aiming to provide quality recreational and educational opportunities in a safe and fun environment at the same time.
The forenoon session will be dedicated to French language learning with a French tutor Leila Urvoy, while the afternoon session will witness a variety of fun-filled workshops. There will be regular workshops starting from painting, crafts, dance and sculpture to cooking, along with special workshops which will include sessions on calligraphy, ecology and magic. This year the educational and project activities would revolve around nature, ecology and eco friendly activities.
A foundation course will be designed for teenagers to learn the basics of French through an interactive programme, teaching them the language and to communicate in French through a variety of hands-on activities.
