Gearing up for the event

 The Green Field Stadium in the city is preparing for the most awaited international cricket match in which India will meet New Zealand for the T20 cricket match on November 7.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Green Field Stadium in the city is preparing for the most awaited international cricket match in which India will meet New Zealand for the T20 cricket match on November 7.  Top officials are coming to the city to inspect the arrangements for the match including security and the stay of the team members. The team consists of Amit Siddheshwar- BCCI Cricket Operations, Micheal Sandle J- manager, New Zealand team,  Ian David Snare- security officer. 

They will be visiting the Green Field stadium at about 10.00 am followed by a visit to the Leela Hotel where the players will be staying. In the evening the team will meet the top police officers and discuss various security arrangements for the match. They will return the same day night.
