Magic Planet to set up M Power centre in Kerala capital

As part of the fourth anniversary of the Magic Planet, a  permanent venue -  ‘M Power Centre’- will be set up for differently-abled children.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As part of the fourth anniversary of the Magic Planet, a  permanent venue -  ‘M Power Centre’- will be set up for differently-abled children.

Selected students from  various schools in the district will get to conduct magic programmes at the M Power Centre.

Vishnu R, Rahul P R, Sreelakshmi (Rotary School, Vazhuthacaud), Rahul R, Shilpa N (SIMC, Pangappara),  Parvathy G ( St Mary’s Pattom) are the selected  students. They will also be the brand ambassadors of Social Justice department’s “Anuyathra” Project.

The Academy of Magical Sciences (Magic Academy) executive director Gopinath Muthukad said in a statement that CP Shihabudeen of Pookkattoor, Malappuram district is the brain behind the M Power centre concept. Shihabudeen who had been identified with 75 percent deformity by birth and succeeded to fight all the odds will be the highlight of the centre.

The first stage programme under M Power centre will be held at the Public Library hall at 3 pm on Saturday. Poet Sugatha Kumari,  V Madhusoodhanan Nair and  former DGP Jacob Punnoose  will also attend.
