THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The investigation team probing the murder of radio jockey Rajesh Kumar, a resident of Madavoor, filed the charge sheet against the accused at Attingal Judicial First Class Magistrate Court on Monday.
The charge sheet was filed against 11 persons. The key accused, Abdul Sathar, is yet to be arrested as he is stuck in Qatar due to a travel ban. He has got financial liabilities amounting to several crores of rupees and hence could not be extradited, said the police. Efforts are on to bring him to India, the police said.
The probe team found that Rajesh’s was a contract killing. He was having an affair with the Sathar’s wife because of which he was bumped off by a gang at the behest of Sathar.
