THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kallambalam police are on the lookout for a 35-year-old person who bludgeoned his father to death.
Vinod of Chittayikode, near Navayikkulam, is said to be on the run after his father Gopinathan Pillai, 75, who was attacked on Thursday night, breathed his last at the Medical College hospital on Sunday.
The accused was in an inebriated state and when the scuffle broke out, he hit his father with a club. Though Gopinathan was admitted to the Medical College Hospital, he succumbed to injuries on Sunday.
A manhunt is on to nab the accused.
