VIJAYAWADA: Mumbai Police arrived in the city to ascertain the death of a Shilvant Somkantle, whose dead body was found in Prakasam barrage on July 11. The Maharastra police met with the doctors who conducted an autopsy of the techie. The investigating team came to a conclusion that it might have been a suicide as there were no injuries or bruise on the dead body. According to police, the deceased suffered from psychological problems and used to take some 20 tablets in a day. They went on to say that he was depressed over some issue which might have driven him to commit suicide.

However, the case is still mysterious as the techie sent a message to his friend three days before his body was found in Prakasam barrage, saying that somebody had kidnapped him. Silvent went missing on August 7 in Mumbai. A missing case was filed in Warsi police station.
