VIJAYAWADA: A family had a miraculous escape when their house caught fire at Krishnalanka on Sunday.
Soon after noticing the refrigerator went up in flames due to electric short circuit, the family members of Jagan rushed out of the house and called the fire services.
A fire tender rushed to the spot and extinguished the flames. The loss of property was estimated at `2 lakh. Panic prevailed in the vicinity until the fire services personnel put out the flames.
