VIJAYAWADA: The State Institute of Hotel Management in association with AP Tourism has issued tourist guide licences to 26 people, who underwent training in temple tourism. Himanshu Shukla, CEO and MD of AP Tourism, said that to promote temple tourism and spread the importance of the architecture among tourists, AP Tourism has trained guides on temple tourism at Tirupati. “These 26 trained guides will have an authorised licence from AP Tourism and will be posted in different locations to promote temple tourism,” he said.
