Naidu visits LuLu in Kochi, urges group to take up Vizag mall work

VIJAYAWADA/KOCHI : Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday  visited LuLu convention centre and shopping mall in Kochi, Kerala, on Saturday. As the AP government had already handed over the task of constructing a convention centre and mall in Visakhapatnam to Lulu Group, the Chief Minister visited Kochi to have a look at the convention centre and mall constructed by the same group.

As the process of bidding has already been completed, the Chief Minister urged the Lulu Group management to take up the construction of the convention centre and mall in the port city at the earliest.
LuLu Group chairman Yusuffali M A welcomed Naidu around 12 .30 pm at the mall. Naidu took a look at all the facilities inside the mall. “I am here to assess the facilities at the mall. Lulu Group has world-class malls and has a good reputation in the international level,” Naidu said. When asked about the investment to be made by LuLu IN AP, Naidu said it was up to the Lulu Group to decide on it. Naidu spent around an hour inside the mall.  Heavy security was arranged inside and outside the mall. 

Later, Naidu visited the LuLu Convention Centre at Bolgatty. After inspecting the convention centre spreads across 2.2 lakh square feet, the Chief Minister said that the convention centre to come up in Visakhapatnam should have more facilities.Naidu opined that beach front will be an additional attraction to the convention centre to be constructed in Visakhapatnam.He also visited the residence of Yusuffali in Kochi.
