JEE Chemistry questions tough, feel students

The JEE Mains-2018 offline examination took place in Krishna district on Sunday. Many JEE aspirants were of the view that questions from Chemistry were tough.

VIJAYAWADA: The JEE Mains-2018 offline examination took place in Krishna district on Sunday. Many JEE aspirants were of the view that questions from Chemistry were tough. Talking about paper 1, Bhargavi, a JEE aspirant, said the JEE Main paper was bit difficult compared to that in the previous years. “While questions from Mathematics were easy, Chemistry questions were tricky and Physics questions were okay,” she said. 

Initial response from candidates suggested that the paper was not as tough as they expected. Some candidates said the physics section was bit tough. For most JEE Main aspirants, this year’s mathematics section was easy.  Over 24,000 students took the paper 1 examination and around 7,000 students took the paper 2 in Vijayawada city in over 45 centres. The paper- I of JEE Mains examination for admission in BE/BTech courses in various engineering courses was conducted from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.  Similarly, the paper 2 examination for admission in  BArch courses was conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm.

The JEE Mains official answer keys and images of response sheets of offline mode examination and answer keys of online mode examination will be uploaded on the official website —  www.jeemain.nic.in —  during April 24-27.

The candidates who are not satisfied with the responses can challenge them by filling online application by paying a sum of `1000 per question. The JEE Main answer key challenges will be accepted online until 11.59 p.m. on April 27.
