VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu interacted with industrialists from Krishna and Guntur districts on Tuesday to receive feedback from them on the State policies launched by the government, and ensure that industries are consistently growing and benefitting from them.

“I am extremely happy with the way we have grown so far. With the foreign tours, networking sessions with international businessmen and the launching of business policies, we are creating the perfect ecosystem for businesses to grow,” he said. The State will soon achieve 15 per cent growth and compete with other states, Naidu said. “We are number one in Ease of Doing Business and we have signed innumerable MoUs in the three Partnership Summits. 18 departments are currently attracting investments under PPP models,” he told them.

He also talked about various initiatives taken to improve irrigation. He informed them that Srisailam will soon be supplied with water. Once the results of the Polavaram Irrigation Project and the Krishna-Godavari linking project are obtained, regions up to Pennar will have water, he said.
The government is working towards connecting every village by road to improve logistics and connectivity.

The state has the basic infrastructure to nurture business opportunities, including a power surplus, he added.

“Through industrial corridors, many of which are still in the planning stage, our State’s central location will be capitalized, and industrial activity will soar up exponentially. We are standardizing and digitizing most procedures and regulations, keeping in mind its impact on the environment also,” he said.
