Andhra Pradesh HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao refutes Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) question paper leakage

Demanding cancellation of Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) for Physical Education Trainers (PET), 90 candidates climbed water tanks in Ongole and Avanigadda, raising slogans against the conduct of TET.

VIJAYAWADA: Demanding cancellation of Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) for Physical Education Trainers (PET), which is scheduled to be held on June 19, around 60 candidates climbed a water tank near NTR Statue in Ongole and 30 candidates climbed another water tank in Avanigadda of Krishna district on Sunday.

The candidates raised slogans against the conduct of TET following rumours of question paper leakage.

Meanwhile, State HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao refuted the allegations of question paper leakage. "There is no chance for leakage of the TET question papers. Candidates need not worry. The online exam centres will only get the question papers just a few hours before the commencement of the exam," he said.

Further, Srinivasa Rao ordered the commissioner of the School Education Department to suspend School games federation secretary T Vamsi Krishna, who had allegedly enrolled for the test as an aspirant.
