VIJAYAWADA:The Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) has launched a foundation course for students appearing for polytechnic entrance examinations and AP residential junior college common entrance test (APRJC) at CVR Municipal High School on Monday.
Vijayawada Mayor Koneru Sreedhar took part in the event as its chief guest and distributed study materials to students. Speaking on the occasion, he said the 45-day foundation course was aimed at training the students to clear polytechnic and APRJC entrance tests.
Similar classes will be also conducted at BSRK High School, Moghalrajpuram and APSRM School, Krishna Lanka. On the occasion, the mayor instructed teachers to ensure that every student attended the classes.Deputy Mayor G Venkata Ramana Rao, deputy educational officer Durga Prasad and corporator N Bala Swamy were also present at the event.
