VIJAYAWADA: One Town Police on Saturday questioned former temple record assistant Sunitha and contract employee Sk Syeda in connection with the memento scam unearthed at Durga temple earlier this month.
Based on the complaint lodged by temple EO V Koteswaramma, the police have registered cases under IPC Sections 420 and 506 against the temple employees. On November 10, police questioned Anusha Handicrafts owner Ramesh, who supplied mementos to the Devasthanam for Dasara festivities.
