Over 98% of candidates clear E-CET this year

VIJAYAWADA: As many as 37,066 candidates have qualified the E-CET examination 2019, results of which were declared by the AP State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) chairman Vijaya Raju here on Monday.

Around 98 per cent of the 37,749 candidates, who had appeared for the examination conducted by JNTU-Anantapur on April 30, have cleared the test.

N V Apparao of East Godavari district stood first in Biotechnology, K Keshava Reddy of Visakhapatnam stood first in B Sc Mathematics, Ch Kalyan of Nellore is the first ranker in Ceramic Technology and R Nidesh of Visakhapatnam stood first in Chemical Engineering.

The exam was conducted for admissions into 13 various courses in second year B Tech and B Pharmacy courses in the state’s colleges.

Candidates can download their rank cards online at sche.ap.gov.in from May 19 onwards.
