The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), a UK-based international professional body, will be hosting its second IET Advantage Job Fair for engineering candidates on October 10 and 11. More than 15 organisations across various engineering streams will be participating in the job fair. The two-day event, open to IET Members (engineering students, fresh graduates and young professionals with one-six years of experience) studying or working in India will be held at SRM University, Chennai. The candidates will be selected through a three-step filtering process that includes an online shortlisting process, an aptitude test and a technical evaluation round. The IET will conduct Aspiring Minds Computer Adaptive Test (AMCAT) that will take place in various engineering colleges across India. Shortlisted candidates from the aptitude test will then be assessed on their technical skills and knowledge of their engineering stream through a Technical Talent Test.
