I am a final year Bachelor of Arts Economics student. Should I do a Master’s in Arts or a Master’s in Business Administration?

After successful completion of your MA in Economics, you can seek careers in Teacing, Research, and Publishing among others. In case you do your MBA, you can seek a corporate career in a bank or other financial institutions. Please decide which of the above interests you and meet a career counsellor who can help you decide on a further course of action.

What courses can I do after an MBA in Human Resources?

Please settle down well in your job and add value to the organisation that you are working with. After a year, add value to your career through courses from the Academy of Human Resources Development, the Indian Society for Training and Development, TV Rao Learning Systems among others. Do find a mentor who can guide you through your career.

Prof RSS Mani is an eminent career counsellor and currently VP, Institutional Development at ITM Group of Institutions. Write to him at queries.edex@Newindianexpress.com
