I am a final-year Bachelor of Science Physics Honours student. I want to pursue Master of Business Administration (MBA) after graduating. Please suggest top colleges that provide high placements  besides Indian Institutes of Management.

Placement services or campus recruitment is a uniform feature and facility that is available in all management schools. Their success depends upon the brand image of the institution in the eyes of the recruiting companies, and the quality of the students. Hence, you can join any good B-School and if you excel in your academics, placement is assured. Please concentrate on your studies in any institution that you join and focus on adding value to yourself by excelling in co-curricular activities, and good jobs will come your way automatically.

I am an MBA graduate specialising in Marketing and Finance. I have four years of retail banking experience. I want to become a business analyst. Please help.

You have a good head start as you have done MBA with Marketing and Finance, and have four years of retail banking experience. Please ensure that you possess good analytical skills, business writing skills and resilience before you consider a shift into a career as a business analyst. You may seek such options in your current company or outside via jobsites and newspaper advertisements. Once you settle down in your new role, you may consider doing the Chartered Financial Analyst programme.
