Jamshedpur-based XLRI-Xavier School of Management’s recent recruitment drive saw 105 companies participating in the process, making 385 offers to 365 students. All students of the batch received paid internships, the highest stipend offered being Rs 1.5 lakh per month. The median stipend for the entire batch was at Rs 55,000 per month. The top recruiters on campus in terms of numbers were Altisource, Vodafone, HUL, ITC, Microsoft, ABG, Samsung R&D Institute and Wipro. They launched a parallel placement process called ‘Parivartan’. Students can get summer internship opportunities to work with NGOs and Not-for-Profit Organisations. Pratham, Tata Trust, AzimPremji Foundation, Bandhan Microfinance, Ashoka Foundation and E-Vidyaloka are some of those companies which participated in the Parivartan campus drive.
