Need some career advice? Ask Mani

I have completed my graduation in electrical and electronics engineering with good grades and my goal is to become an astronaut. Can you guide me? From the internet I got to know about exams as JEST and GATE. Should I crack JEST and join IIA or crack GATE and join IIST? Or should I appear for AFCAT and join IAF?

You have done a good amount of research about various approaches to your career goal. Your best options to become an astronaut could be via IIT, IIST, ISRO, IISER or IIA. In order to enter these institutions, you need to qualify via JEST or GATE. You can get all details of the admission procedures via their websites. The IAF route too is possible but most astronaut selection is done on a seniority basis. Hence, plan your next steps quickly to seek a seat in any of the above for the June 2017 admissions.

I’m a student of English literature and I want to crack the NET exam. No one has a clear idea on how to prepare or what are the books to study. Please help.
