"The rally has been cancelled in the wake of killings that took place last night," a local Congress leader and close aide of Azad told PTI.

A Congress sarpanch, his son and a village official were shot dead by militants in two separate incidents in Tral area late last night.

The ultras have stepped up attacks on political workers in the south Kashmir belt, which is going to polls on April 24.
