IDUKKI: Age failed to deter her from exercising her right to vote in the Assembly elections. Kalukutty,103, the eldest voter in the district who was honoured by District Collector A Kousigen recently, came to cast her vote at the polling booth near the Kattappana St George HSS ground by 11.30 am. Kalukutty is an inmate of Pratheeksha Bhavan, an old age home in Kattappana here, for the past 30 years. Although she is now a centenarian, Kalukutty has no major health issues.
