NALGONDA: A video by Telangana martyr Srikantha Chary’s mother Shankaramma, alleging that TRS leader and former minister G. Jagadhish Reddy was responsible for the party not allotting Huzurnagar ticket for December 7 elections has gone viral on social media on Wednesday.
In the video message, she accused Jagadhish Reddy of ‘creating problems for her in all aspects in the constituency’.“If Telangana Rashtra Samithi party does not give me the ticket I will commit suicide and minister G. Jagadhish Reddy and TRS candidate S. Saidhi Reddy will be responsible for my death,” she said.
“I looked up to KCR as a father and KTR as a son. My son Srikantha Chary sacrificed his life for the sake of Telangana State. But the party leaders have ignored my family’s sacrifices and gave to the ticket to an upper caste candidate.”
Shankaramma also questioned the TRS as to why not a single ticket was allotted to the families of Telangana martyrs.She said that the people of Huzurnagar constituency have acknowledged Srikantha Chary’s sacrifice and ‘voted for me in last elections’. Shankaramma than asked TRS chief KCR and his son KTR to take care of her ‘second son’.
