LOS ANGELES: Singer Adele will visit North America next year on 56 dates.

The tour will begin on July 5 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, and will end on November 15 at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City, reports aceshowbiz.com.

Held in support of her newest album "25", the tour would be her first major outing in North America in five years.

The last time she went on tour in 2011, she cancelled many of her shows due to laryngitis, a chest infection and a vocal cord hemorrhage.

Tickets for the "25" tour will include six nights at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, on August 5, 6, 9, 10, 12 and 13, and six nights at Madison Square Garden, on September 19, 20, 22, 23, 25 and 26.

Tickets will go on sale on December 17 via Adele's official website.

Before launching the North American leg, Adele will tour in Europe starting February in Belfast.

When it was released on November 20, "25" broke the record of selling 3.38 million copies in the first week.
