Looks like the Game of Thrones is all set to welcome popular English singer Ed Sheeran on board for the show's upcoming season. According to a BBC report, directors David Benioff and Dan Weiss have been quoted as saying they had been trying to book Sheeran for a while.
The 'Shape of You' singer took to Twitter and retweeted a report about the same saying, "guess the cat's out the bag...".
However, the viewers' curiosity has only been taken one step forward as everyone is left wondering what part Ed would play in the cult-hit TV series.
According to reports, the Ed Sheeran's booking was supposed to be a surprise for Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), as she is a big fan of the star.
There is also no confirmation whether he will be performing like the previous musical cameos that include Sigur Ros and Of Monsters and Men.
