Mugdha Unplugged

A sought after model for over five years, Mugdha Godse switched careers to star in ‘Fashion’, ‘Jail’ and ‘All the Best’. Though her recent film ‘Gali Gali Chor Hai’ failed to make it at the box office, the Mumbai girl is full of spunk.

She points to other projects lined up over the next two months, from ‘Will You Marry Me?’ to ‘Oh God! Saare Hain Fraud’ and ‘Afra Tafri’. More from the actress:

‘Will You Marry Me?’ is a romcom and will define a wedding appropriately. I play a modern girl who falls in love and the movie is about how her marriage takes place. It has a young team with really enthusiastic people on board, which made the experience brilliant. The sets were mad. Pranks were played but not all were successful. I knew the team and we often said ‘hum cool film bana rahe hain’ (we are making a cool film). Shreyas was mind blowing. He is so full of energy and is one person who can improvise instantly. Both of us are Maharashtrians and I know his wife really well, so it was great.

I want to tell girls joining Bollywood to be strong. Be yourself. One needs to be honest with themselves first. Truth is the only real way to reach your destination.

Yes, I have my own beliefs (laughs). I am a fitness freak. I have to work out for at least an hour every day - either hit the gym or swim, jog or even do yoga. I am very philosophical. I sometimes end conversations when I get philosophical and that is why my friends call me boring.
