Jacqueline Fernandez is known for her slender figure and supple dance moves to songs like Chittiyan kalaaiyan. The long-legged actor of Kick and Roy reveals the regimen that goes into maintaining her gym trim figure. “I love doing TRX, but for quite some time now, I have become hooked to pilates. I do a lot of horse riding in Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai whenever I get the time from my shootings. Also, I like to dance, which is a good way to keep fit,” she says.
When it comes to diet, she says she eats a lot of healthy food, juices, fruit and home-made protein bars. “On the sets, I bring something from home for lunch, like lots of steamed vegetables, fish, grilled chicken or dal with brown rice and salad. I try and keep it nice and light. Sometimes, I order a soup from a restaurant. In my fridge, you will always find fruit, vegetables and milk. I try to avoid keeping anything that is remotely tempting,” she says.
Jacqueline says she started exercising when she was 12 years old. “I started exercising looking at my mom. She is beautiful. I was always very sporty as a child too. I was in the basketball team and would do trekking and camping,” she says.
