After the success of the much-loved Jolly LLB starring Arshad Warsi and Amrita Rao, the trailer of the sequel of the comedy and drama movie was launched today.
This time around, the movie stars Akshay Kumar and Huma Qureshi along with Annu Kapoor, who has been cast as a negative character.
A lot like the first part, the trailer shows Akshay Kumar as Jagdishwar Mishra - a struggling lawyer who has big dreams, and in a romantic relationship with Pushpa, played by Huma Qureshi.
The trailer has its funny moments until a person gets killed in a car accident and the story takes a serious turn. The background music gets more intense and so do the dialogues.
Annu Kapoor seems convincing enough as the big, bad lawyer and Akshay Kumar vows to fight him in a case that might end up defining his whole career.
Jagdishwar promises Pushpa that one day they will go around in a Rolls Royce, and if this case will allow him to do that; only the movie can tell.
Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the movie will release on 10th February 2017.
The first part gave Arshad Warsi a National Award. Will Akshay Kumar follow suit?
