NEW DELHI: Bollywood’s Dabangg girl Sonakshi Sinha, who is busy promoting ‘Akira’, has commenced the shooting of her next film ‘Noor’.

Sonakshi, 29, took to Twitter to announce the news and posted a picture of herself with clapper board, writing, “And my #Noor journey begins… Here’s to new beginnings & exciting times ahead! @NoorTheFilm @Abundantia_Ent @TSeries.”

Back in January, the makers released the first look poster of the film.

Directed by Sunhil Sippy, the movie based on the book ' Karachi, You're Killing Me', will see Sonakshi portraying the role of a journalist alongside Kanan Gill, a well-known stand-up comic.
