MUMBAI: Actress Gauahar Khan says she has not been very regular with spa treatments and her beauty regime. And it's all in preparation for her role as a sex worker in "Begum Jaan", the Hindi remake of critically acclaimed women-centric Bengali film "Rajkahini".
She says she has started shooting for the film, in which she will be seen as one of the sex workers in a brothel and who becomes a victim of partition.
At a recent event here where she was present to unveil the cover of Asiaspa magazine, Gauahar said the role requires her not to follow her regular beauty regime.
"As my shoot is going on, I am not following the regular beauty care like going to the spa and all. The character I am portraying is needed to stay without these things. My director has strictly instructed me not to go through any kind of (beauty) process," she said.
