Salman Khan talks about the success of Sultan at the box office and what he plans to do next.
What does success means to you?
Success means being happy.
What is the best compliment you have received for the film?
People have liked my looks. The compliment is — There is a repeat value for the film. People are going and watching the film again and again ... which is a big thing for us. Ali Abbas Zafar director is a genius -- it was his idea, his script.
Considering you are delivering hit films one after the other, people are making predictions about your films even before their release.
I have been lucky. I have been someone who is there at the right time at the right place and has chosen the right scripts. I am working with talented people who are working more on me. Once the luck runs out, I will have to work hard.
What made you choosy?
There were one or two disasters.
What do you think worked for you in the film?
Anushka made me look good in the film. The script made me look good in the film. The music was good. I was sad that the songs that I sang were not used.
Aamir says he felt emotional after watching the film and texted you.
Yes he did text me. He did compliment.
Aamir Khan feels that you are the bigger star...
I can say Aamir never lies.
What did you think of Dangal’s poster?
It’s a good poster. Wait till you see his bare-chested body in the film. I gave Aamir advice: Yeh pahalwan ka role hai, issmein six packs mat banana (laughs).
Recently, Ranveer Singh did a jig at a theatre in Paris.
I wanted to break a chair on his head. Watch the film. They are not watching Sultan; he is making people watch him. He should charge money for that.
Have you managed to lose the weight that you gained during the film?I haven’t been able to lose the weight I have gained till now. Earlier, it was difficult to gain weight, now it is difficult to lose weight. Earlier, it was difficult to compete with the seniors now it’s difficult to compete with your juniors.
Would you like to see a biopic on your life?
My life is very boring. Koi boring life pe film nahin banata hai.
Did your father Salim Khan like Sultan?
My dad is my biggest critic. Every time I do a movie his reaction is very important. He really liked Sultan.
And your mother?
I am number one in my mother’s eyes ... I am forgiven for a lot. I think everyone should be my mother.

Yeah, they are doing well. I am a part of the Marathi movie Shivaji with Ritesh Deshmukh . I have a good enough role in the film. I forced myself into the film.
Will you be part of the Sanjay Dutt biopic?
It will not be complete without me being part of it.
