Pretty Aisha Sharma, the sister of actress Neha Sharma (Kya Super Kool Hai Hum, Youngistan), has appeared in commercials and now debuts in a music video Ik Vaari in which she is paired opposite Ayushmann Khurrana.
The song incorporates snatches from the famous Aashiqui (1990) number Tu meri zindagi hai and the last shot revisits that film’s iconic poster - only this time, Aisha is seen in a black, backless outfit. Asked how comfortable she was while posing for this scene, Aisha says, “Actually everything on camera is not what it seems. I was in a body suit and absolutely comfortable; and I was being directed by Dada (director Pradeep Sarkar).”
The young actress says she is “absolutely ecstatic” to be debuting with a T-series video directed by Pradeep Sarkar (Parineeti, Mardaani). “I couldn’t have asked for a better opportunity because I have been directed by the legendary Pradeepda ... it doesn’t get better than that. Also, the song has been beautifully sung by Ayushmann Khurrana.”
Aisha shares, “Movies are definitely on my mind, we are in talks for a project and when the time is right we will make a formal announcement.”
