Leaks prompt Ranveer Singh to reveal Alauddin Khilji look from Padmavati prior schedule

Ranveer Singh's look as Sultan Alauddin Khilji is finally out and it's everything a fan of the 'energiser bunny,' as he is fondly called, would die for (quite literally).

Ranveer Singh's look as Sultan Alauddin Khilji is finally out and fans have gone gaga over his appearance as the infamous Delhi sultan.

What is even more interesting is that Ranveer Singh, who had announced that he would release the first look character posters of him as Khilji on Tuesday morning.

But the actor reportedly had to release the posters early, at 2 AM on Tuesday morning since the posters were leaked online and spread through Twitter.

The swashbuckling actor had taken to Twitter to introduce the world to the character by posting two posters.

Twitterati was quick to slam the ones who tried to 'sabotage' the film and ruin the work of the marketing team.

Some twitter handles had shared the posters of the film but deleted their
tweets after criticism rose.

Prior to this, the makers had first revealed Deepika Padukone’s look as Rani Padmini following which they revealed Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh.

Deepika Padukone as the beautiful, elegant and unibrowed Queen Padmini aka Padmavati was enough to make the Twitterati fall in love with the gorgeousness of the actress, while Shahid Kapoor as Padmavati’s husband, the grim, battle-ravaged Maharawal Ratan Singh was a delight and a revelation.

Ghastly, kohl-eyed, and ferocious, with a uniquely-styled hair, Ranveer's Padmavati look is what nightmares are made of, or may be for and reeks of the adjectives already been given to him - the villain of the piece, the evil, and the lustful megalomaniac.

The badass little scar underneath his eye gives a serious run for money to the original scarface. Making him look even deadlier is the malevolent colour of his eyes, which gives him an even more grungy look.

'Padmavati' is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The movie went through its share of controversies with a fringe Rajput group, Rajasthan's Shri Rajput Karni Sena, vandalising the sets of the movie a couple of times, and even manhandling the director once.

They are said to have issues with how Bhansali is handling the equation between Padmavati and Khilji.

It was also reported that playing Khilji had taken a toll on Ranveer’s mind and consequentially, he actually had his friends worried.

The actor is now even planning to go to a psychiatrist to get rid of the Khilji influences.

The magnum opus is all set to hit the screens on December 1.
