Salman Khan thanks well-wishers, tweets 'tears of gratitude'

He was sentenced to five years in prison on April 5 after being held guilty of killing two blackbucks in Jodhpur during the shooting of his movie 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' in 1998.

NEW DELHI: Bollywood’s superstar Salman Khan, who was granted bail in the blackbuck poaching case, took to Twitter on Monday evening to thank his fans for all the love and support.

Khan tweeted, “Tears of gratitude. To all my loved ones who are with me and never lost hope. Thank you for being there with all the love and support. God Bless.”

On April 7,  thousands of fans gathered outside Salman’s apartment when he returned home after spending two nights in Jodhpur Central Jail.
