Puneeth Rajkumar’s films always create a buzz as and when the project is announced. So is 'Yaare Koogadali'. The star cast of the film is almost complete with the exception of the heroine. A few names have popped and going by rumours, Nithya Menen, Sameera Reddy, and Bhavana are in the race.

Apparently, Bhavana is the front-runner as Puneeth Rajkumar and Bhavana had worked together in her first film, 'Jackie'. “We have gone through a long list of heroines who will play the lead opposite Puneeth Rajkumar. But as of now, we have around four to five actresses. We will take a call only after considering their dates and the films they are doing now,” he said.

The team of 'Yaare Koogadali', which will be made under Vajreshwari Combines and Raghavendra Rajkumar, is leaving no stone unturned to select the best star cast for the film. “We have Yogi, Sadhu Kokila and Sindhu Loknath as part of the film. We will come to a conclusion regarding the heroine in consultation with the director Samuthirakani. Among the proposed heroines, Nithya Menon is currently working in Mynaa. As for Sameera Reddy, she just completed 'Varadhanayaka' and Bhavana, who is on top of the list, is shooting for 'Topiwala' opposite Upendra.
