'Kannada da Kotyadhipathi' which airs on Suvarna Channel had Sandalwood actress Ramya as the first celebrity guest. This special episode will be aired at 8 pm on March 29.
“I will be using the prize money to support industry veterans and their families. I intend to support Late Shri Puttana Kanagala’s family, Director Geetha Priya and Late Shridhar’s family who was the sound recordist of my movie,” said Ramya.
Ramya and Puneeth together are rated as one of the best onscreen couples in the Sandalwood industry. They have worked together in movies like Abhi, Akash and Arasu which have been super hits.
Ramya has starred in several Kannada films alongside lead actors and is often referred to as the golden girl of Kannada cinema. 'Kannadada Kotyadhipathi' which is based on the international show 'Who Wants to be Millionaire' is hosted by the face of Kannada cinema — youth icon and power star — Puneeth Rajkumar who comes from the first family of Kannada cinema.
Other than just playing the Kotyadhipathi game on this special episode Ramya will be seen dancing with Puneeth and the show promises to be a complete entertainer.
The prize money won during this episode will be used for charitable purposes by the actress.
