BANGALORE: Akanksha, who was planning to hit tinseltown, is happy to have got her first break in Sandalwood. She is paired opposite Duniya Vijay in RX Soori with debutant Sreejay helming the film that is produced by Suresh of Govindaya Namaha fame.

Suresh says, "Akanksha is a newbie and plays an innocent girl in the film. She fits the part well. She is a North Indian settled in Bangalore and knows Kannada. Akanksha completed one day's shoot and will join us sometime this week again," he says.

The title RX Soori has made way to many stories. And a few people are assuming that it is a story of Soori and his life before he turned director. Suresh clarifies the matter and says, "The hero Vijay is popularly known as RX Soori because he usually rides RX which is a popular bike. I heard a lot has been discussed about the story. At this point I would like to say that how Shivarajkumar was Satya in Om, likewise, Vijay will be seen as RX Soori in this film. It is based on love, which according to me makes it a true story because it happens to a lot of gangsters who are popular. This film is not based on anybody."
