The PK Act in Parapancha

The posters of actor Aamir Khan virtually nude in PK was considered a distaster. The poster finally got some clothes with Legislator and Congress leader, Krishna Hegde, dressing it up last Saturday in Mumbai.

Apparently, the poster has a resemblance to Portuguese musician Quim Barreiros' 1972 album cover.

Not long ago, Diganth's nude pictures in Parapancha created a lot of news in Sandalwood for the same reasons. At that time, when the pictures got released, a few of them thought it was a gimmick.

Director Krish Joshi recalls the incident and says, "When I read about Aamir Khan, I immediately connected with my own movie. I remembered how few people had objected to that picture as well. Diganth's poster was clearly not a publicity stunt. Diganth in the film is on a spiritual journey. Here, he starts with nothing and reaches somewhere. The only way, I could put this through was to show him was in this avatar. There was nothing more it," he says.

Meanwhile, Parapancha which completed its shoot is at its dubbing stage. "Most of the actors are done with the dubbing except for Diganth and senior actor Ashok. In a week's time, the film will go into the post production stage," Krish Joshi says.
