Dhruv.JPGThe buzz in Gandhinagar is that Dhruv Sarja has signed up for Banta with director Suni.

The director, who is known for films like Simple Agondh Love Story and Bahuparaak, will helm the commercial flick that will be produced by K P Srikanth of R S Productions.

“I am taking a break from experimental subjects for a while. It will be a challenge to direct an out and out action flick with a love story and some new elements in it,” says Suni, who will also write the screenplay and dialogues for Banta.

Satya Hegde will handle the cinematography, while V Harikrishna will score the music for the film.

What is interesting about Banta is that there is a bird in the story and the makers are looking for a pigeon to play the role. The muhurath for the film will be held after Ganesh Chathurti and the shooting will start in October.

Meanwhile, Dhruv’s Bahadhur, directed by Chetan Kumar, will have its mega audio launch today.
