The pre-release buzz of Puneeth Rajkumar and Radhika Pandit starrer, Dodmane Huduga directed by Suri and produced by M Govindu under Ajay Pictures, has already created a huge interest in the state. According to reports, the distribution for three centres, which include BKT (Bengaluru, Kolar and Tumakuru), Mysuru and Chitradurga - has been purchased by distributor Muniraju for `10 crore. Various distributors from Shivamogga, Mangaluru and even Hyderabad are vying to buy the film.
Suri, who is currently busy with shooting, is looking at a Dasara release. With cinematography by Satya Hegde and an impressive star cast including Ambareesh, Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, Sumalatha, Ravishankar, Chikkanna, Santosh, Avinash among others, Dodmane Huduga could just rewrite Sandalwood box office history.
Simultaneously, Suri is concentrating on his experimental film Kendasampige with newcomers, the music for which was released on Sunday.
