Sources tell us that a song in Upp1 2 was supposed to be shot in Rohtang Pass, Kullu Manali and Kashmir. But since the weather and political situation in Kashmir is not suitable, the team is will complete the shoot in Manali. Parul who was travelling from Delhi by road for 11 hours nonstop to reach the location in time, will start shooting from today.
She says, “I needed some time to relax so that I look fresh in the romantic duet. We have also tried to do something different with my look and outfits which have been specially brought in from Mumbai. All this will make the audience sit up and take notice.” .
“Although I was initially quite resistent to these daring outfits, once I understood the concept, I agreed to wear them. It might be out of my comfort zone, but I realized that I also needed to experiment with my look as an actor,” she says.
Upendra, who reached the location three days before, has also scouted out a few new spots where he will be camping for the next 15 days. Apparently, Uppi feels lucky to have found the perfect weather for the shoot even though the night temperatures to
sub-zero levels. “Apart from the songs, I would also be shooting a few scenes and fights here,” says Uppi-.
The actor will wrap up this schedule by January 15 and then go abroad for the remaining song sequences.
