Killing Veerappan is going as planned. The film, which marks Ram Gopal Varma’s entry into Kannada. completed its entire shoot on Sunday, ending with a gala wrap up party. The film is in the post production stage and going by sources, the makers have planned a grand audio release at Chitradurga on October 18. The songs for the film are an added promotional peg for the makers -- lead actor Shivarajkumar has rendered his voice for one, while another will be sung by Puneeth Rajkumar, which is yet to be revealed officially. Two songs are written by Chethan, who directed Bahaddhur, and the other two songs are written by directors AP Arjun and Alemari Santhu.
The makers are looking at November 6 as the release date, and the film will be released in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. A Hindi release is planned for December. The film has an ensemble star cast including Parul Yadav, Yagna Shetty, Sanchari Vijay, Sandeep among many others. Meanwhile, Shivarajkumar’s other film Shivalinga is also in post production stages and the makers of the film plan to release their film around the same time. They are yet to complete shooting a song, since CGI is taking time. Whether Killing Veerappan releases first or Shivalinga, we will have to wait and see.
