Mayuri Kayatri who rose to fame with the TV series Ashwini Nakshatra established herself on the big screen with Krishna Leela. The film, directed by Shashank, saw the actress opposite Ajai Rao.
Nagathihalli Chandrashekar, who noticed her potential, roped her in for his upcoming film, Ishta Kamya, a unique love story, along with Siddarth and Kavya Shetty. While the film is rolling, the actress has bagged his next film as well. She is the chosen one for Nataraja Service to be presented by Puneeth Rajkumar, produced by N S Rajkumar and directed by Pawan Wadeyar.
Confirming the news, the producer said, “Yes, we were looking out for a Kannada heroine and all of us felt that Mayuri will fit the role perfectly."
She will be seen opposite Sharan, making a new Sandalwood pairing. It is only a matter of time before the rest of the star cast and technicians are finalised, before the film goes on floors from mid-November.
