U Turn to See a World Premiere

Since, the release of U Turn getting a world premiere, the makers have decided to release the film in India in May.

Director Pawan Kumar is elated that his yet-to-be-released U Turn in India will see a world Premiere at the New York Indian Film Festival on May 8. His last film Lucia premiered in London and was well received by the audience there. Pawan told City Express, that the news got confirmed on Thursday. "They were in touch with me, since the trailer of U Turn, released and when I sent them a copy of the film, which was selected for the festival.  Shraddha Srinath and I will be attending the New York Indian Festival, " said Pawan, who is planning to leave for the US by end of April. "Hollywood actor, Roger Narayan, who is part of our film, is already there. He will join us for the festival," he adds. 

Pawan is excited with the fact that a Kannada film is making its presence on an international platform. "More than thinking how much business our film does and the number who watch,  it is always nice to see a Kannada film in the catalogue of the International Film festival. That's  a nice feeling. I tend to apply for these festivals, after what I expereinced with my previous film, Lucia," he says. Pawan has sent the film to other festivals like London, Shanghai. "It will take time for them to confirm," he says.

Since, the release of U Turn getting a world premiere, the makers have decided to release the film in India in May.
